Help with English essay?

OVERVIEW: Construct a 3-4 page (including works cited), double-spaced, MLA formatted compare and contrast essay by analyzing any two or three works we have read in class.  Your essay should have a clear thesis statement, be well organized, and descriptive.  Structure the essay so that it makes sense, intrigues, and enlightens your readers. 

You will need to incorporate at least 2 direct quotes from the works you are analyzing in order to exemplify direct links to the primary source.  Do NOT use slang.  Proof read carefully.

You will want to utilize critical thinking and analysis of at least two elements of a short story to construct your compare and contrast:
Plot
Characterization
Setting
Conflict
Theme
