The topic on my research paper about how the juvenile system is failing our youth. They claim that the juvenile detention system is supposed to stop kids from coming back into the system, but you see studies showing that once these young kids get stuck in the system, they never get out. And there are a few kids we do get out of the system, but that’s because they were given other alternatives besides getting sent straight to the juvenile detention system. This is the angle that I will be using for my research paper. There are other alternatives for troubled adolescents, instead of just sending them directly into the system. my professor told us to pick a story that we feel relates to our topic and that has to be our primary source throughout our paper. I have attached the story as well as the guidelines. it has to be in mla format and has to include a work cited page.
